Policies and FAQ's Regarding Custom Orders

Please carefully read the following policies and FAQs which will outline the process of ordering and delivery of your custom cookie order!
 
Pending vs. Confirmed Orders:
  • While we are discussing your specific cookie needs, your order is considered "pending". Once I feel as though I fully understand your cookie goaIs, I will send you an emailed quote. 
  • After the quote is accepted, payment is due in full. 
  • Once payment is received your order is placed into the schedule and is considered confirmed. 
Fees
  • Cookies are charged per dozen (12) and the fee varies depending on the number of designs and colors in your requested set. Special effects such as metallics and florals also impact the price per dozen. 
  • You may incur a "finder's fee" if you require a specific cookie cutter for your set that I do not already own and therefore must purchase to complete your order. I own over 500 different cookie cutters and can usually suggest a comparable substitution or place the requested design on basic shape like a circle.
  • Cookies are delivered layered with parchment paper in a bakery box, ready to be transferred to a display platter. If you require your cookies to be individually packaged and heat sealed, there is a $5 per dozen fee to do so. 
  • Delivery within 20 driving miles of Greenfield, Ma is free. Delivery outside of this radius is $1/mile. I am happy to meet you within this radius at no extra charge. Routes are calculated with Google Maps and use 141 Mohawk Trail, Greenfield, MA 01301 as the starting address. 
Delivery
  • Delivery dates are determined at the time of ordering. 
  • I suggest scheduling your delivery 1-2 days prior to your event (I promise cookies will stay fresh!)
  • Weekday deliveries are completed after 5:30pm and weekend deliveries are completed between 9am and 12noon. 
  • You will receive a delivery reminder 2-3 days prior to your scheduled delivery and a message letting you know when I am on my way/close to arriving. 
  • If you are unable to receive your order in person and request that I leave it in a specified location, I will send you a picture of where the order is left, but will no longer accept responsibility for any damage after that point. 
Changes/Cancellation
  • Your order is considered confirmed once payment is received in full. Until payment is received, your order is considered pending and availability on your requested date is not guaranteed. ( I will let you know if someone is trying to scoop your date!)
  • Payments are non-refundable.
  • If you notify me that an event is cancelled or postponed with at least 1 week (7 days) of pickup, I will transfer your payment in the form of credit to a new date within 365 days (1 year) of original event date. This will allow you to change your theme and quantity if necessary. 
  • Any theme changes may incur further finder's fees for additional cookie cutters. This will only apply if the cutters originally requested have already been purchased.
  • Credits expire 366 days (1 year + 1 day) after original event date.
